As a general rule, we run all our routes as scheduled.
- Commercial routes are usually only affected at Christmas.
- Residential routes are usually only affected at Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's, the holidays delay our pick-up schedules by one day. For example, if a holiday falls on a Monday, Monday’s routes will be ran on Tuesday, Tuesday’s routes on Wednesday, and so forth through Friday.

Route Changes for the week of Thanksgiving 2026
Residential route schedule changes. Thanksgiving Day and Family Day – November 26th & 27th, 2026.
For Thanksgiving 2026, we will be changing the residential 90-gallon route schedule. All services will remain the same on Monday November 23rd, Tuesday November 24th, and Wednesday November 25th. But Thursday November 26th (Thanksgiving Day) NO SERVICE. Your pickup day will be DELAYED one day. Please have your containers out on Friday November 27th by 6:00 am.

Route Changes for the week of Christmas 2026 and New Year's Day 2027
RESIDENTIAL route schedule changes. Christmas week – December, 2026 and New Year's Day 2027.
For Christmas 2026, we will NOT be changing the residential 90-gallon route schedule. Christmas falls on a Friday and VVD does not run residential services on Fridays.
Please have your containers out before 6:00 am.
For New year’s 2027, we will NOT be changing the residential 90-gallon route schedule. New Year’s falls on a Friday and again VVD does not run residential services on Fridays.

COMMERCIAL route schedule changes. Christmas week – December, 2026 and New Year's Day 2027.
There will be NO services on Christmas Day, Friday, December 25th. All services typically scheduled (routed) for Friday will be provided on Thursday, December 24th. This applies to Mesquite, Bunkerville, and Arizona.
For all service areas, non-routine (unrouted) service requests must be received by close of business on Wednesday, December 23rd, to be completed the following day. Any requests submitted after close of business on Wednesday will be serviced on the next regularly available service day.
There will be NO route changes for New Years Day. All commercial routes will run normally as scheduled.
